My cat isn't allowed to use the internet

But I don't leave bags with handles sitting around anymore. A surprised cat with a bag around its neck is tough to catch and they just crash into everything

One of our cats had this happen twice with paper bags before we realized we need to cut any handles on bags they play in. The first time it happened, he came bolting into our room and knocked over everything on the floor (including scattering like 40 whip-its all over) and didn’t stop until the bag tore.

He’s terrified of the crinkle of any paper or plastic bag now.

We hear you. Bags and curious cats are a recipe for chaos! 😹

    Safety tips:

Cut the handles or stash bags out of reach.

Swap in handle-free paper bags for play, still fun, far safer. (We love that!)

Offer dedicated cat toys (feather wands, crinkle balls) to keep them occupied.

Always supervise “bag time” and ditch any torn or flimsy scraps.
