It was unclear how the agency would respond. Democratic lawmakers left the state to stop Republicans from redrawing district maps to their advantage.

Now, in theory at least, do they even have the authority/jurisdiction/whatever to execute a state warrant, let alone "civil warrant"?

Don't get me wrong, I don't think they'll respect the law. Just curious if anybody here has info...
