I mean they take fucking years to make and the story sucks. Hell if he had animated the damn thing from the start the whole thing been done already. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 2 child comments replies: [–] harrys_balzac@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 1 year ago The first one was just another "Romeo and Juliet" rehash which is itself a retelling of "Pyramus and Thisbe." I paid zero attention to the second one but I've the trailer for this new one a few times in theaters and it's not doing anything to generate interest in me. Tron: Ares seems more compelling. permalink fedilink source parent [–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago I saw the first one too and was shocked by how bad the acting was. Even from sigourney weaver. Sam Worthington and Michelle Rodriguez it made sense, but sigourney weaver? I suspect that James Cameron just couldn't tell how bad it really was with the 3D glasses. permalink fedilink source parent
