It would be really nice if one day we could stop associating with Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Israel is going to have to get more covert going forward. AIPAC carries too much baggage. Maybe they'll hide behind JStreetPAC or something for a while, or have their donors reclassify as some other FEC title, which I suspect they may already be doing.

Either way, anyone who starts to carry a legislative record of putting Israel First over America can no longer hide behind simply being opposed to antisemitism; nothing wrong with that if genuine of course (for it was always conservatives under the Republican banner causing violence wrought out of hate crimes) -- but we all know that was just a veil for increasing far-right strength in Israel.

AIPAC are already covering their tracks. They now do most funding through the united democracy project. Though that's been pro-israels Super PAC for sometime, AIPAC funding was still high.

Their donation model has also changed. Now they encourage their members to do individual contributions rather than through the org. Which is much harder to trace to their specific lobby group.

That's why it's important to ask the politician if they support Israel, because it 100% is a litmus test on their morality, both governance morality or human morality.
