NEW YORK (AP) — Another wipeout for stocks tied to the buildout of AI data centers is overwhelming Wall Street on Thursday and more than erasing all its gains from the day before, which was its best in three months.

The S&P 500 fell 3.5% after opening with a loss that accelerated through the morning. It’s on track for its worst drop since President Donald Trump shook markets worldwide in April 2025 after announcing his “Liberation Day” tariffs.

Hopefully this bubble doesn’t kill those businesses.

I guess any shred of care I have for a business stops at the IPO.

Not all businesses are evil companies trying to suck the life out of workers at the benefit of their personal yacht fund.

No not all. But after IPO you're a majority share from it at any point in time. That's a decision a company makes.

If you want my concern shift to an employee owned worker co-op model with a sustainable market strategy. Not always a prefect solution but at least growth doesn't inevitably become your sole driver.
