Advanced Publishing are Reddit's largest share holder... It's owned by the billionaire Donald Newhouse ($26 billion), and his publishing empire.

There's a rightwing pro-Israel jewish magazine named Tablet magazine, run by Alana Newhouse.

Tablet magazine has received funds from pro-Israel organizations and (according to Wikipedia) has promoted products associated with Peter Thiel (who is involved in weapons and emergency information systems for Israel) and Bari Weiss.

I believe the Newhouse publishing empire might have a specific view of where they want Reddit to be on the issue of Israel-Palestine... And they might not want Reddit to exist or have a wide audience.

Turns out they've owned Reddit for 15+ years now. Sometimes when researching something you hit a dead end, or find facts against your argument and have to accept them and change your viewpoint.
