It’s a suite of programs that’s fairly similar to Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (and another one I’m forgetting)

Adobe Illustrator is the other one.

Unless I've missed something, it's actually Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, not Lightroom.

    Yeah, this is correct.

    • InDesign - page layout
    • Illustrator - vector design
    • Photoshop - raster image editing (but has smart layers that can contain vector shapes)

Source: I was a graphic artist for ages and my first version of Photoshop was 5.0.

Old school Quark was so barebones. Hated it at first but loved it as my knowledge of it deepened. It was a divisive tool back in the day!

I'm sure we had a moniker for it I've long forgotten. I will always have a space in my heart though for Adobe Ragemaker. Fuck Ragemaker.

To this day graphic design is why I hate Macs lol

Graphic design was what introduced me to them haha. To this day, I’m still on a Mac at work, but now it’s programming. At home, it’s all Linux.

Was never a Pagemaker person. Even InDesign was shaky for me, but I had to use it for work. It grew on me. Just had some weird sluggishness at times iirc.
