While the US has its share of misogyny, of course, rape culture being the forefront, it's actually not that bad compared to the average first-world country in that regard, and almost all misogynistic views in the united states are exclusively in service to capital owners control over society. This includes abortion, the wage gap, and the entirety of the beauty industry.

Pink capitalism is a huge part of American society, and is the only reason women have any rights, given it is slightly more profitable on average to let women earn their own money to spend on capitalism, instead of solely acting as support and production of human capital.
