Community Of The Day

One community, every day. A daily recommendation of a Lemmy community worth joining — with live stats, a short pitch, and the month's most active discussion as a sample.

What to expect

One recommended community per day, posted by our bot
Live subscriber numbers and activity, fetched at posting time
A sample discussion — the month's most active post, so you can see what the community is actually about before joining
SFW communities only

Know an underrated community?

Send the bot a private message with:

!suggest !community@instance

User suggestions jump the queue — they get recommended before the curated pool. You'll get a confirmation message either way. (Suggestions are handled by DM only; comments are not read.)

Rules

Be kind — this is a showcase, not a battleground
Suggestions via DM to the bot only
Suggesting your own community is fine if it's genuinely active
No NSFW, no bigotry
The instance rules apply

It seems the main admin is away from home currently https://slrpnk.net/

It is possible that it will only be restored in December 2026. Sorry.

Anyways, it looks like the realistic / not overly optimistic scenario is that the server will stay down until christmas.

Yeah I DMd him directly and got the same answer. This happened last year when he was on a business trip too so he's looking to make some changes for the future.
