    I've been hit by enough rocks on the visor to not want the brain buckets

    To each their own. When I was really young, one of my cousins died on a motorcycle when he hung the chin of the helmet on something and broke his neck.

    I know it is completely illogical. But I have a terrible fear of those helmets since then.

    And I'm guessing because I put my first 75,000 mi on underneath a bucket. The full helmets feel extremely stifling.

    When I was over in Europe it was impossible to get a beanie that was also legal and even the 3/4 helmets made me feel like I was traveling in a bubble. Disconnected.
