So where do we move the retirement account investments to to avoid the bubble? I think most of mine are in stuff like mid-cap and large-cap funds

    Move a slice of the large-cap into ex-US: VEU or VXUS if you can pick ETFs, or your plan's international index fund. Mid-caps are already the less exposed half; you can't dodge the bubble, only cut the concentration.
