It's not the 1990s anymore, those machines go for three to five thousand dollars now.

I do understand that. Taking into account inflation $1400 then had the same value as $3000 today

I would like to add we were young and struggling, renting a dump and still doing Uni and paying off Uni too , this was a huge amount of money for us but I didn't want to be buying a new machine every 5 years

actually looking at a 2kg RV one later down the track. They're about $900 but would be useful for extremely small runs and emergency runs
