I'm here setting up and moderating over a dozen art communities around things I like because reddit deserves to be boycotted.

The average person won't be doing that without an alternative to switch to, so I'm trying to be part of creating that alternative.

You know. Facilitating the nuances of how actual change happens, instead of just shouting at people for liking things.

I would never go back on reddit and condescend-comment at people for liking things because they are doing so on a platform that needs to go.

That's not productive. It motivates no-one and if anything, makes us here on the alternatives seem really fucking un-inviting.

Speaking of which, I don't think I want you here.

    Then let me be clear.

    I do not like Elon Musk, Donald Trump, or what Facebook, Twitter, Google, Nvidia, Tesla, SpaceX, and a litany of other far too large corporations are doing. I do not support fascist legislation or social movements.

    If, despite that, you can't deal with the fact that I do like the Falcon 9 rocket and posted it drawn as an anime girl, you're free to count me as an enemy. But I would seriously question your ability to tell friend from foe.

    If liking the Falcon 9 means I can't dislike the chief con-artist of SpaceX (really just xAI+Twitter+Tesla in a trench-coat these days), then I don't know what to tell you.

    I will never personally pay a single cent for starlink, and the unregulated race to kessler syndrome is unacceptable. But the same way Elon didn't draw this piece of fanart, neither did he build the Falcon 9.

    He just took credit for it from an army of material scientists and engineers.

    Ignoring that in favor of villanizing everyone you can by association, doesn't help anyone. Including you.
