Absolutely its gonna have the room to itself. Should it be fine to:

Setup frame
Unroll mattress on frame
Let decompress
(tomorrow when protector arrives) remove plastic and apply protector + sheets etc?

Yep sounds perfect:)

My only addition might be airing it out a bit after you remove the plastic and before you put on the sheets just for the potential smell. Sometimes this is not really a problem but sometimes they smell super chemically at first and benefit from fresh air and a fan.
