Saltwick Bay, North Yorkshire, England, UK.

A dramatic coastal view at Saltwick Bay, taken from the southeastern cliffs looking towards Black Nab. In the foreground, a cluster of large, square-cut sandstone boulders sits on the shore, their surfaces heavily encrusted with barnacles and dark seaweed at the base, glowing warm gold and ochre against the surrounding wet, dark rock and shallow tide pools. Beyond them, the sea shows a striking band of turquoise-green shallows breaking into white surf, giving way to deeper grey-blue water further out. On the horizon, the distinctive pinnacle of Black Nab rises from a low rocky outcrop, its weathered stack shape silhouetted against a heavily overcast sky, where dark, brooding storm clouds roll in overhead, hinting at approaching wet weather.
