But with all that spending going into the AI buildout, there’s one question many don’t appear to be asking: where is all of that electricity actually going to come from?

They could, but that would mean water treatment before being used (money their profit-driven asses refuse to spend). It's why they always go for drinkable aquifers: the water is already high-quality, and fuck everybody who needs it to live!
