Eh, I think its exppress purpose is delivery bots, and authoritative control is a happy accident. I'm cynical enough to see it foremost as corporate greed.

    We live in a country that Ring advertised mass surveillance systems as a Superbowl ad for finding lost dogs.

    Delivering food has never been about food. It's extremely unprofitable. It's always been about normalizing and optimizing oppressive systems of gig work; and destroying the ability of the working class to face their bosses or even their coworkers.
