Does QEMU help me create a virtual Linux system in my Windows 10 machine ? (cafe.coffee-break.cc)

I wish to switch over to Linux, but the only machine l have at my disposal is my brother's windows 10 laptop. Does QEMU help me create a virtual Linux system on this machine ?

It can. Depending on the Windows 10 version you can use Windows Subsystem for Linux to test out stuff or go full VM with Microsoft Hyper-V
