KokusnussRitter comments on Even F-16s enjoy a good bubble bath 😊

I did training in a data center with this stuff (I think) once. They said if there is a fire hit the button then you have like ten seconds to leave the room before the oxygen goes bye bye.

I remember touring a Strategic Air Command base and someone describing a Halon fire suppressant system as "for when the data is more important than any people in the room".

That's inert gas, not foam.

Is the idea to choke the oxygen from the fire?

F-16 needed to be squeaky clean for the upcoming inspection! 😭

(I think it was an accidental trigger of the fire system, yes XD)

@KokusnussRitter @PugJesus This is an AFFF (aqueous film-forming foam) fire suppression system test. Standard safety equipment in military hangars. The F-16 just happened to be there at the right time! 😄
