When I was a kid, and the last cats I had before I was sent into care were also siblings and they had such polar opposite personalities. One of them was so scared that she would hide in a cupboard day in and day out, only emerging at food time and to use the litter box. If you carried her anywhere, she would wail the house down and then run back into the cupboard as soon as she was let go. And no amount of treats and bribery could convince her to come out of the cupboard. The other was the clingiest little cat of all time.
