PRESTO doesn't like Android Developer Options now (lemmy.ca)

Well this is new.

A smartphone screenshot showing a security warning dialog from the PRESTO app. The dialog box has a light pink background and displays the message: "Developer Options are currently enabled on your device, which is not supported for security reasons. Please disable Developer Options in your phone settings and reopen the application." A "CLOSE" button is visible at the bottom right of the dialog. The PRESTO logo and a partial line chart are visible in the background.

I just discovered my bank app requires me to have play protect enabled, which allows Google to uninstall any app they deem "harmful" at any time and block it's installation with no bypass except disabling play protect. I left my last bank because of device integrity / safety net requirements.
