Who is Nick Dellow and how did he get this copy? All the news I see about this points back to this YouTube page as the source rather than an announcement from the record company. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] pirat@lemmy.ml 3 points 6 months ago (1 child) update: So it seems Nick Dellow is an audio engineer engineer does this. I cant find a website or anything beyond YouTube for him. If anyone can find more info on how to reach out to him I'd love to get hands on some FLACs or WAVs of many items from his YouTube channel. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] ArcaneSlime@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 6 months ago To your update, from the article: Uploaded by sound restorer Nick Dellow, it was originally made in 1940 straight from the metal master by Columbia Records producer George Avakian, who would go on to work with everyone from Miles Davis to Edith Piaf to John Cage.
