The latest issue of "This week in Plasma" brings the news that now there's a pop-up preview for folders on the desktop that are empty, that the Plasma Virtual Keyboard is coming along nicely, and that screen recordings of specific windows now capture that window's popups too:blogs.kde.org/2025/07/05/this-#Plasma6 #FreeBSD #OpenSource @kde@lemmy.kde.social

A screenshot of the "preview" of a folder on the desktop. As the folder is empty, instead of showing a blank rectangle (which could be confused with a glitch), the message "Folder is empty" is displayed, making it clear what you are seeing.
