It's far from unusable. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] cheesorist@lemmy.world 1 point 9 months ago I tried using freecad a while back my previous experience being two years in blender and light designs in fusion360 that i picked up very quickly designing a very simple shape that would've taken me a minute on blender or fusion, took me a good 20-30 minutes navigating errors and ui to find simple tools like extend, even after being found, making them work is an extra hassle I would love to use freecad but its not worth the learning curve for me when i only design basic things to 3d print permalink fedilink source parent
