So... I made my own balls by sewing them up following a pattern online, and filling them with rice. They're about 2.5 inches, 115 grams.

I practiced for about an hour, on and off, yesterday. I can throw all three in series, and then catch them, more than half the time. But I haven't tried going any further, because sometimes I randomly start doing worse and have to go back down to two or one ball.

It's a skill that you're building. Just like everything else, it takes time. The worst part of learning anything as an adult is you are actually aware of how bad you are at something compared to the greats and are acutely aware of the time. My recommendation, passed on from the fella who taught me, is to stand in front of your bed or similar. It stops you from walking around, catches the balls for you if you drop them, and you can collapse into it in frustration if needed.

Thanks! I've actually improved slightly already!

I've been standing in front of the bed, based on the recommendation of flyjuggler on YouTube.

I can more consistently get 3 catches now, sometimes 4 or 5, and once I think I did a full rotation. Or if not, it was very close. It's hard to tell what I'm doing when I'm doing it haha.
