I recognize that I've been blessed with the cats I've had in my life. Not all of them are cuddly and like hanging out with humans. But like yours, mine have always been and still are incredibly loyal and loving.

    I think most cats are capable of that. It is just that a lot of cat owners doesn't expect that, so the cats won't give any either. It takes effort and love from the human, but a lot of cat owners just doesn't give that. They just co-exist with the cat instead.

    I'm on my 8th cat in my life, and they've all been very affectionate. Most of them haven't started that way, but you just keep forcing love in small doses on them and eventually they admit they like it.

    Strangers have come over and are blown away when my cat will just climb into their lap and demand cuddles.
