The whole thing is a cluster fuck. I don’t understand how they keep making it worse. It’s still a crapshoot clicking whether or not your app is in search or start or neither.

It's because of top down management dictating that all departments:

Must achieve 30% profit growth each financial year (prioritising higher short term profits to the detriment of long-term product viability)
Must place AI in as many places as possible to puff up usage numbers to justify the ridiculous amount of investor money they've spent on it in the past.
