The fixation on Candy Kong reads like someone found they had a thing for furries but didn’t want to learn that about themselves
Whatever it is I don't want any
Donkey Kong 64 was made by Rare and has more lore and story than all the other Donkey Kong games combined, so I'm not sure wtf this writer is smoking.
The problem with writing smart characters who solve problems using their wits is that you need smart and hardworking writers to pull it off.
Otherwise you end up with shitty cop-outs like having the character invent and build some impossible contraption that wouldn't even believably work or relying on an incredibly unlikely sequence of events to happen for their plan to work.
Oh sure hog all the coolness, what I wouldn't give to get a game willing to sacrifice visuals for something of this scope
Wake me up when I can hack it.
Playing D&D nonstop seems like a logistic challenge to say the least.
What I strongly dislike about super-lethal games is that the less leeway you give characters, the less room there is for tactically-suboptimal-but-roleplay-superior actions.
My Dwarf hates goblins, so what does he do when he's down to 2hp, the cleric has healing magic and the rogue has four arrows aimed at the goblin leader? Well, he's going to charge, of course, and if the the rogue shoots first, they're going to have An Issue later. But if your game is super lethal, I'm either not going to get invested in a character, or i'm going to play this RPG like a tactical tabletop game.
Through an arcane formula the stonkmancer converts hopes and dreams into shareholder value.
Okay but there's no value because Rare hasn't done anything since Conker's Bad Fur Day
They're extracting value, not making it.
It was the only launch game I was even remotely interested in, but not enough to buy the whole console for it. I'll be keeping my eye out for sales though. It looks so ridiculously fun.
It is though otherwise there's no point to owning Rare
Their stock got a bump from acquiring Rare due to the potential of the IP, and now it'll get another bump from all the savings due to the cancelation. Actually delivering games based on the IP isn't required.
Microsoft. Why did you buy Rare if you didn't want any of their IPs?
Presumably killing the single-player at some point, as with Battleborn. A whole-ass game, available on a real optical disc, that you're not allowed to play anymore.
I completely forgot this game existed, to be honest
Not a bad book, he even managed to resist inserting a weird sexual-side-plot into this one!
Curious to see what style they've gone with for the spider aliens, and how they'll handle the large chunks of narrator exposition which explain what the hell is going on without just having him talk to himself all the time
Cancelled by Disney but picked up by AMC for the US and Canada.
It’s been a long wait to see it in North America, but at least it will be available.
Everyone that went to go see the day the earth blew up in theaters....
You're the reason why Coyote vs. Acme got to live
Everything decays into Fortnite.
Must be weird doing interviews and “launching” a show in the US when it has already been released most other places for 8 months, and was already cancelled by Disney almost 2 years ago.
$80 for continued Nintendo shit like this
It’s pretty crazy that Nintendo made this change. It’s impossible to play three lap online races (only) now. You have to always have intermission in the mix. I was considering getting a switch 2 just for this game and it firmly has made me decide not to. How could they make such as idiotic change?
As far as I’ve seen from YouTube videos yes the only way to guarantee three lap races is in private lobbies.
