I just found these photos of the schoolwork of 9-year-old Ritaj Rihan, who was shot in the head and killed by Israeli terrorist forces yesterday in a classroom tent in northern Gaza. One photo shows Ritaj’s practicing handwriting. The words on the page were orange, banana, and apple. برتقالة/موز/تفاحة

The other photo shows her solving subtraction problems. She was murdered in front of her teacher and peers, leaving behind only these unfinished lessons.

I found this woman's instagram account, roseyingaza. Her bio states "3 generations born and raised in Kuwait but now stuck in Gaza alone. Diary of WW3 begins. 1948’ Palestinian that made her way back"

She's attractive, with great hair, makeup, and clothes. she appears to be wealthy, presenting herself very stylish and western, while providing gifts for children in Gaza. She speaks perfect American English. She has many videos of cooking at food charity events in Gaza. But she also has videos of her walking through rubble and posing to dance music.

https://www.instagram.com/roseyingaza/

Then I went to her youtube page, where she has much less engagement than on instagram. Her description states she is "an American doctor who has been volunteering to treat children in Gaza since 2023. I am board-certified in general medicine. I ask Gaza supporters around the world to support my channel, subscribe to it, and activate the bell so that the voices of Gazan children can be heard worldwide."

https://www.youtube.com/@Roseingaza

There is no way this lady is a doctor. She doesn't make videos about being a doctor in Gaza. She doesn't appear to have the vocabulary to explain what is medically affecting the children she records. She mostly shops, gives gifts, and stares into the camera while cooking.

There are more youtube pages of hers https://www.youtube.com/@roseyquartz1998/videos https://www.youtube.com/@Rosey_in_Gaza

I suppose everyone deals with genocide differently but there's something off about Rosey to me. Anyone know anything about her?

Gaza City is a ghost town. Darkness, smoke, and shadows hang over it, illuminated only by the red glow of explosions. The city resembles scenes from apocalyptic films—stories of the end of the world, of human catastrophe, of global wars. Homes stand deserted, streets are emptied, and death encircles us from every direction.

Every morning, new leaflets fall from the sky like snow, ordering us to leave and head south. Most residents ignore the leaflets. Some children collect them—not to read but to burn as fuel for cooking; to boil what little rice or lentils they may have. The irony is unbearable: the same papers that demand our departure now keep our small fires alive.

Microsoft has terminated the Israeli army’s access to technology it was using to store vast troves of intelligence on Palestinian civilians in the West Bank and Gaza, Yuval Abraham reported. The decision followed an exposé last month by +972 Magazine, Local Call, and the Guardian revealing how Unit 8200, the Israeli army’s elite cyber warfare agency, was housing recordings of millions of intercepted phone calls by Palestinians on Microsoft’s cloud platform, Azure.

Jeremy Scahill Oct 05, 2025

There was broad consensus among a wide range of Palestinian factions and parties that Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad had the authority to negotiate an end to the active war in Gaza, according to several sources who participated in the discussions. There was also agreement that Hamas alone did not have a mandate to negotiate terms that would impact what the negotiators called issues related to the Palestinian homeland.

“Regarding the resistance factions, our jurisdiction is concerning matters of prisoner exchanges in return for halting the aggression, withdrawal, the entry of aid, and stopping the policy of displacement against our people,” said Mohammed Al-Hindi, the chief political negotiator for Palestinian Islamic Jihad, in an interview with Drop Site. “As for the national issues, the resistance factions are not authorized to speak on them alone, as these concern all factions and forces of the Palestinian people everywhere.”

The challenge before the negotiators was how to craft a response to Trump that would assert the Palestinian right to self-determination while persuading the erratic U.S. president to force Israel to cease its genocidal war.

A piercing chorus of tooting horns and dockers shouting “we don’t want you” greeted an Israeli-owned container ship when it arrived in Livorno, a port city on the coast of Tuscany this week.

For two days, the striking dockworkers stood their ground, refusing to unload and reload the ship’s cargo in a display of defiant solidarity for Palestinians and the Global Sumud flotilla attempting to bring aid to Gaza. The protest was a triumph and the ship, bound for the US and Canada, left.

From Genoa, Trieste and Ravenna in the north, to Salerno and Taranto in the south, in recent weeks port workers across Italy have succeeded in obstructing ships believed to have been carrying weapons for Israel, as opposition to the country’s war in Gaza intensifies.

The 11 vessels, most of which started sailing last week, are “carrying over 150 healthcare workers, journalists, and activists,” according to organizers, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) and Thousand Madleens to Gaza.

“As journalists and medical professionals, we carry the responsibility to speak truth and preserve life,” said Dr. Ricardo Corradini, a general surgeon from Italy, in a statement. “This mission is an appeal to our colleagues—and to the institutions that represent us globally—to break their silence, uphold their ethics, and stand on the right side of history.”

FFC highlighted earlier this week that the ship ”Conscience, bombed by Israel off the coast of Malta in May 2025, has returned to serve as a vehicle for medics and media determined to reach their colleagues in besieged Gaza.”

William Christou in Jerusalem Fri 3 Oct 2025 19.37 EDT

Donald Trump ordered Israel to “immediately” stop bombing Gaza as he welcomed Hamas’s partial acceptance of his ultimatum to end the nearly two-year war.

Hamas has agreed to release all hostages in return for Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails, as well as surrender governing power in the Gaza Strip, in accordance with Trump’s plan.

In a statement on Friday evening, the Palestinian militant group asked for further negotiations on other parts of the plan, and did not say whether it would lay down its arms – a key part of Trump’s proposal unveiled on Monday.

Despite the qualified response by Hamas, Trump said in a post on Truth Social: “Based on the Statement just issued by Hamas, I believe they are ready for a lasting PEACE."

Protesters then marched to the Brooklyn Bridge, where some sat down, locked their arms together, and sang while blocking traffic to the span. New York Police Department (NYPD) officers subsequently arrested at least 56 people, according to the New York Post.

Many of the arrested protesters chanted, “Let Gaza Live!” as their hands were zip-tied and they were hauled off to an awaiting NYPD bus.

Asked why she was arrested, one keffiyeh-clad woman said, “Because I’m using this sacred holiday of Yom Kippur, as a Jewish person whose ancestors perished during the Holocaust, to protest against the genocide of the Palestinian people in my name.”

“And I say, not in my name,” she added.

At least 63 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza over the past 24 hours. World Health Organization report finds that nearly 42,000 Palestinians in Gaza, a quarter of them children, have suffered “life-changing injuries.” As Israeli officials label the roughly 250,000 people remaining in Gaza City as terrorists and terror supporters, UNRWA warns it may be preparing for large-scale massacres. “We are displaced. We were in the north and they told us to get out and go to the humanitarian zone. They said go south of Wadi Gaza. We went south of the Wadi. We didn’t leave in the first displacement. This time we couldn’t stay so we came here,” Ismail Abu Sharakh, an eyewitness to the Wednesday strike, told Drop Site as he pointed to destroyed tents at the site of the attack.

He held up a wad of shredded banknotes residents had pooled together to buy a makeshift water line, nothing more than a thin pipe with protruding hoses leading to various tents. Remnants of the Israeli munition lay next to a small crater where it made impact. The surrounding tents were ripped and torn through with shrapnel. Bloodstained mattresses and bits of flesh lay on the ground.
