Ha, definitely not how to pronounce Worcester.
30' higher, 100+' to the side.
Supposed to better, unobstructed view. And, of course some upgrades to the lights.
Wait, what?! It's moving?
Thanks, I just shared this with everyone I know in MA!
Was it with a traffic circle?
Edit: It was with a traffic circle.
Woot!
Fuck it, let's do it
Why can’t we split the difference and move it 30 minutes one last time?
There's also named experts in that article, in addition to my first link above

We tried permenant DLS already under Nixon and didn’t like. Let’s learn from experience and science andnadopt permenant standard time.
This link discusses a survey, not scientific research.
I like DST. Thats it. no study, I just like it.
Correct, and my body responds best to a DST schedule.
Hmm, would love to read the full paper!
You don't get to choose how your body responds to light
The US already bends over backwards to accommodate morning people
We're not an agrarian society any more. We can choose a better time standard.
I don't see how it impacts my health if I never interact with it.
Health researchers agree. Morning sun is much more important for our health
Daylight savings time needs to end. Permanent standard time. Permanent DST is a bad idea.
I think they built it in anticipation of about 3 feet of sea level rise. The problem is that we're likely in for a lot more than that, even though it's going to take a long time to actually happen
I don’t understand the Seaport District. It was just built out in recent times, when the effects of climate change were well known. I swear I even remember Boston Globe articles about designing for climate change.
How is this already one of our most at risk parts of the city? How was it not built out to handle what everyone knew to expect? How did we fail so miserably to account for near term reality?
