Finally, a win for the common man.

Thank you for your sharing all of this! Have a nice week!
I didn't follow it closely, but Gamer Nexus did a video to show some of many problems it had at launch, like the control panel thingy-app not even working, a clean uninstall not actually cleaning everything and it becoming literally impossible to get the driver working - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjYSeT-T5uk - most of the problems seem to be about stuff not working, rather than low FPS
When it actually worked, Intel Arc A750 and A770, which I suppose would be the equivalent of this LX G7100, were roughly between Nvidia RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti in performance, with a no doubt driver related problem with Counter Strike Global Offensive - https://www.techspot.com/review/2542-intel-arc-a770-a750/
There's this report from 2024, using a Intel Arc A770 16GB. Out of 250 games tested, 218 worked flawlessly, 3 failed to even start and 2 wouldn't actually load into the game. https://www.techspot.com/review/2865-intel-arc-gpu-experience/
Not bad for new hardware IP.
Thank you for sharing this table, since you mention drivers, do you remember if Intel's GPU was also this bad at launch before improvements to the drivers or is this even worse?
Incredibly underwhelming results, it's readily beaten by a wide margin even by Intel's GPU. For its price point, it's by far the worst contender. Let's see how much can be fixed with drivers and the company learning how to better make these kinds of chips.

*The results are from 潮玩客's Bilibili video. The first value corresponds to the average frames per second (FPS), whereas the second value represents the 1% Low FPS, a metric for measuring the slowest 1% of frames observed during the benchmark.
Just having alternative options anywhere near the performance of even several year old nvidia cards is worth it for the competition IMO.
This is awesome. I’ve already seen a few projects (like kobold.cpp forks and sd.next) try to support ZLUDA out of the box.
Yay slower GPUs get here a couple of days early! Still won't make me buy them.
Since this was an MIT source release, any chance that this could find its way onto something like Mesa for use on any GPU that supports Vulkan?
Can't wait for the comparison video. If Huawei manages to contend with NVIDIA, it'll flip the market. We need some damn competition.
Officially
This seems to be an issue with most new cards.
AMD because it isn't full-width PCIe connection (x8 or even x4) so you have less bandwidth on PCIe 3.0.
Intel Arc has a reliance on ResizableBAR but also some issues caused by less-new CPUs (which I assume is some graphics pipeline thing).
... yeah? L-Systems are sixty years old.
Drives me up the fucking wall that procedural content is still treated like some novel secret. Red Dead Redemption 2 shipped on two entire Blu-Ray discs despite being set in the wild west. Half of that had to be textures. That is thirty gigabytes of dirt. Just dirt and wood and rocks and a sprinkling of human skin for flavor.
When .kkreiger dropped, I figured the whole damn industry would take the hint, and pivot to itty-bitty textures defined by rules. Nope! More artists, fatter bitmaps, crunch crunch crunch crunch. I'd suspect deliberate exclusion of competition by maintaining high budgets, but I don't believe executives are that smart or that organized.
No shit, a GPU not optimized to use frame gen doesn't perform well. It is a two way street.
Article says 22,900 on eBay already. Only releases in the middle east region. They had a particular crowd in mind
Imagine the scapled price on these gaudy turds.
Is "End of Life" being used correctly here?
EOL, to me, means no longer supported and no further software updates.
Which makes the 3 years lifespan absolutely abysmal, and would make me not even consider an Intel GPU.
It sounds/reads more like Intel is discontinuing them as opposed to EOLing them. Which isn't so bad.
