Ive been dying for Messiah to get a treatment for so long

This third movie covers the second book, “Dune: Messiah”. Parts one and two covered the first book. I’m personally excited because Messiah is my favorite in the Dune saga, even though a lot of people don’t think it was great.

I suffered through God Emperor of dune and then I just really ran out of energy after the first chapter of the next book.

Christian Bale would've figured out how to do it practically.

I think CGI is probably the simplest way of achieving that, so it's most likely what they did. A practical effect there doesn't seem feasible, but I'm no FXologist.

"Just let the machine do the blinking for you," is not something I'd want to hear as an actor, in any case.
