Hosted a Halloween party on Saturday and was nervous for how it would go, went better than I thought it would.

Car had MOT on Monday, failed, but then got it fixed on Wednesday.

Been in bed most of the day, just knackered. Now I'm doing a bit of tidying up this evening and visiting my friends down south for the weekend.

My week was fine. Managed a couple of decent runs, but I've been feeling it this week. Watched my wife compete in Hyrox in B'ham which was cool, my first time at the NEC, the place is fucking huge! Unfortunately I didn't have time to go on a bike ride, hopefully I can get on one this Sunday.

Applied for a new job. Had a great time spending Halloween in beautiful Lincoln. Went to the doctors everything is fine. Working and preparing my pockets for the carnage that will be Christmas

Also, watched the final of The Celebrity Traitors. I love that show.

Hard to have the kid out of school while working at home, but Halloween was pretty successful. Kiddo got to see some friends on Friday and Saturday, and he was actually tired enough to let us sleep in until 7am for once (!)

Meh. I don't like Autumn... yeah the colour in the trees are nice, but it's just muddy mush everywhere.

Winter's coming, but not quite here, Summer's gone, but some days are nice...

Went into town to get a few things, yep, Christmas stuff everywhere...

I just want to complain about not enough rain and it's too hot again.

But apart from all that negativity, yeah, the week was ok 😁

Good. I wasn't sure that I was really addressing your request very well. I keep the SIM inactive most of the year. I'm not sure what options they have: if you don't but a data package, you may still get some data at a higher rate.

But the regular monthly or "but for 1 month" options both have a good range of prices.

I believe Giffgaff pay as you go is what you're after. They will send you reminders of you use no data, calls or texts for 6 months or so, but if sending some data then you're golden.

Try checking RWG Mobile , ScanCom or Mozillion

I bought a SIM card from RWG a while back that was a 1 time payment for 2 years contract for 1GB data per month. It was so cheap I never actually got round to using it.

I believe the other 2 do similar plans.

    EDIT -

If you have no luck try searching IOT SIM / Internet Of Things SIM / Prepaid Sim

I can see some offers for 500mb valid for 5 years for £5

More trips to urgent care for spontaneous double ear infections; my GP can't fit me in 'till next week.

That's to have them looked at, not be issued with some.

Had to cancel a long-planned trip to Norwich for the beer festival

Trying to find waterproof trousers I can cycle in that actually fit. Sports direct refuse to give a refund, just a useless credit note and ordering another size online has extra delivery fees.
