What kind of source is rohtext.de?

The fact that the article cites Grok as a source for verifying data makes the website and the article questionable in my view, since Grok was specifically designed to provide answers with a particular ideological slant.

/edit: I found another source which seems a bit more reliable.... but which references rohtext.de as main source for their fact check. Make of that what you will.

In any case, a graph without sources is misleading, regardless of whether the trend actually occurred.

Well fuck my previous reply got erased.

In short I was saying how Thiel is responsible for getting Vance the VP spot. He's behind the scenes in lots of shit. You see muck over there? Theil had a dude in it, cause he's a damn billionaire he controls shit.

But currently the US has Vance as VP only there cause he was picked by Theil (look it up if ya want). So this dude who has some idea of billionaires of creating a new feaudal system where we all work for them (think cyberpunk, company stores etc) has his hand picked couch fucker VP in the white house.

Didn't the US rebel against such things? Like isn't that sefdom, taxation without representation sort of thing the whole reason they rebelled?

But I guess the US has gone too soft these days. Mean I hope they did not, they got a big pile of weapons (guess thankfully Trump has been dwindling that.... Dumbasses to let him, seriously which country that wants to be strong let's a loser like trump take control? Hah) so in the end they'll be another fallen empire with crap to show for it.

Too bad, if they kept their supposed ideals of helping and being good they may have been great. Now they'll be like Rome in history, a fallen empire.

Hey least Trump allowed people to be racist.

recognizing the Palantir co-founder for his “societal impact” and entrepreneurial feats as his company seeks to build out a mass surveillance network across the U.S.

Fuck Thiel. Fuck politico, fuck all the surveillance and bullshit.

I hope that Germany understands that Putin's "Russia" is the competing to be most-gaslighting country on the planet, & that allowing such machiavellians to decide the framing of ANY issue, is incompetence.

Decide the right-framing yourselves, & make Putin's "Russia" toe THAT line, not the other-way-'round.

    Art. 77 says:

Every person has, without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member country of his or her habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement

You need a "Aufsichtsbehörde". And it says that it doesn't matter if it's it's where you live, work, or where the bad thing happened.

BTW, the word "Staat" does NOT refer to one of Germany's regions but to the whole country. So, a "staatliche (federal) Aufsichtsbehörde" would be best I guess.

Art 78 is short, you should read it, and further Art 78 I guess.

Article 77 is just making this explicit: You complain where you are living (even cross country!), where you work or where the suspected violation took place. It doesn't say anything more.

Indeed I am exploiting that option. I have lost confidence in my country of residence. The EDPB reports show that most DPAs are understaffed and up to their necks in work. Germany was an exception. Germany has far more resources for GDPR complaints than most of Europe.

Because of this there is no standard form to fill out: it depends on the agency itself where you choose to enter your complaint.

So Germany does not have a nationwide form? Each of the 17 agencies have their own? I guess I have to work out which region I am dealing with first.

But before that, I need to know if the federal agency is who I am working with. The data controller referred me to the Federal agency, but that seems off.. from what I have read, the Federal agency is just a single point of contact for the EDPB. I see nothing about the fed handling GDPR complaints.

(edit) I found the relevent region. I think I’ll distrust the controller’s referral to the federal office and use the regional. Which has its own form.

I think you are mixing up two concepts: One is the generic European data protection act(s) and another is the German specific implementation, the DSGVO. (Edit: mixed up my laws)

The EU is quite awesome in that regard: You send complaints to your countries data protection agency.

Article 77 is just making this explicit: You complain where you are living (even cross country!), where you work or where the suspected violation took place. It doesn't say anything more.

Because of this there is no standard form to fill out: it depends on the agency itself where you choose to enter your complaint.

That's the huge downside in the German system then: in the worst case they enter a game of responsibility ping pong.
