You can also see the actual context for my temp ban for downvoting comments I explicitly disagreed with (as admitted even by this poster) here :)

At this point, I might actually be their most mentioned topic, lmao.

For bonus points, "Perpetual campist troll" was the exact wording I used for banning someone playing whataboutist games in support of the Soviet Union just previous to receiving the dbzer0 ban. I guess one of the Dbzer0 admins got their feelings hurt on an alt.

"Stirring up instance drama" here, of course, means calling out the dbzer0 admins for denying genocide and sexual assault.

Unruffled denying Uyghur genocide

Holodomor denial left up in a comm where the only two mods are dbzer0 admins, they both participated in the thread, the material was reported, it was specifically pointed out to one of them, and the comm regularly removes Zionist genocide apologia and denial under the (legitimate) justification that genocide denial is against the rules. Apparently, the Holodomor isn't a REAL genocide in the admins' eyes.

Both Unruffled, dbzer0 admin, and Davel, .ml admin, denying UN verified sexual assault

No clue what the "the mods told him to stop reporting people who weren't breaking any rules" thing is in reference to. Another of their delusions, I guess, lmao. I can't believe I get fanfic written about me!

PugJesus once asked whether 196 would be moved or not, but wasn't involved and neither encouraged the "move" of 196. However, their ban and the bans of others were discussed, but I'm fairly certain they weren't aware of that (at least until after it all happened).

Nah. In the end, it's not that big a deal, just irritating. Mostly it sped up my departure from dbzer0 to Piefed earlier than my departure from .world to Piefed, whereas originally I wanted to move both at the same time (and, despite my disagreements with previous dbzer0 policy, without stirring up unnecessary drama or leaving on bad terms).

C'est la vie. If downvoting comments I disagree with is ban-worthy from dbzer0's eyes, I feel no need to remain, or on good terms. Didn't think they were that petty, but here we are.

I updated the comments with that post: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/49724031/20307838

The original comment was to revoke that

As far as I can tell, literally the only thing the dude does is post about cool stuff and chat.

PJ himself admitted to be "a twat"

Do you really believe anyone's opinion on PJ would change with a new comment mentioning https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/49724031/20307838?

I'm here, happy to provide receipts.

I'll have to dig a bit deeper, but at the moment I have

Now, there's another one I have in mind that is more explicit (from a mod of !196 itself that was saying that your ban kind of triggered the whole thing).

I'll see if I can find it.

Edit: actually, you are correct, I'll update the posted comment with this link instead https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/39039162
