Also how does this movie “integrate” (for lack of a better word) with the clayface from Creature Commandos?

In general I agree with the decision to make it a standalone film in the DCU. The film wouldn’t benefit from a Superman cameo and a Batman reference would seem like a setup to nothing.

Don’t forget all of the teases to the original Human Torch in this episode which might make a “return”

My hot take is that Kerry is a reformed Manhunter, and that is why the guardians let her go live on Earth

The big shows to die were the Amanda Waller show and “Paradise Lost”

Having some time to reflect, while it is emotionally powerful, this finale makes no sense. It basically boils down to this:

Aquakind: we are gonna melt the ice caps

Humans: no pls we will drown

Aquakind: lol skill issue

Humans: fine then we will kill you first

Aquakind: no why did you kill us we surrender

Humans: we are monsters

So i guess the moral of the story is: Humans are awful, Aquakind are awful, and if you litter, Kate Lethbridge-Stewart will come after you with a gun, so don’t.

Damn what a finale. Really didn’t think they could pull it off. Still wish the season was a bit longer.

It’s weird that they released this teaser on IGN and Rotten Tomatoes but not on their official YouTube channel.
