The Iranian regime strikes, which had occurred in the past, have intensified since the United States and Israel launched strikes on Iran on February 28. These attacks place the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) in a difficult position. The autonomous region maintains close relations with Western countries while also sharing a long border with Iran. Kurdish Iranian opposition groups have established themselves in the region over many years. The KRG leadership in Erbil has been critical of the Kurdish Iranian groups and wary that they might drag the region into conflict.

Half a year ago it was an open secret that CIA and Mossad are arming them and using them to invade Iran. And now we are supposed to be shocked that Iran is striking those groups?

According to [ITV News](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITV_News "ITV News"), since the start of last year, weapons have been smuggled into western Iran to arm thousands of Kurdish volunteers, and Kurdish sources have told the outlet that US and Israeli forces were asked to provide air cover when any such ground operation begins.[\[20\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Kurdish%E2%80%93Iranian_crisis#cite_note-:8-20) These reports were corroborated by [CNN](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNN "CNN"), which stated that the [CIA](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIA "CIA") was working to arm Kurdish forces to spark an uprising in Iran.[\[51\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Kurdish%E2%80%93Iranian_crisis#cite_note-CNN-2026a-51) According to [Axios](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Axios_\(website\) "Axios (website)"), US and Israeli officials told the outlet that the idea of supporting Iranian Kurdish factions and using them as a force for a possible ground offensive from Iraq into Iran originated with Israeli Prime Minister [Benjamin Netanyahu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benjamin_Netanyahu "Benjamin Netanyahu") and the [Mossad](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mossad "Mossad"), with the CIA later joining the effort.[\[52\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Kurdish%E2%80%93Iranian_crisis#cite_note-52)

Interestingly enough the internet is getting flooded right as we speak with new articles about how the west should support the kurdish fighters.

So you could sneak in some trouble-makers at any protest, have them destroy something and basically fine all other protesters? Sounds like a great plan to repress and profit at the same time

Idk man, this whole thing looks sus to me. Ai-text and pics, no contact info, no terms of use or privacy policy. I remember a while ago there was a person promoting their (non-disclosed ai-vibecoded and pay-to-win) browser game, posing as a young dev that wants community feedback. I hope this is not the same but for now it doesn't look trustworthy.

Not from .ml and no stake in china but isn't the whole idea of comunism to put important industries under collective control? Not a big shocker to see that they are doing it with the cotton industry honestly.

This is the unseen side and eventually the crux of the romantic idea on "ethical animal production", there is not enough land to cover the demand from consumers AND let them have a decent life at the same time. Reduce your consumption of products containing eggs, try out vegan recipes, by leaving out eggs of your cake or replacing them with alternatives, keeping the demand at the same horizon by buying local & organic is not a long-term solution sadly.

Because it is economically not worth it processing those exhausted egg-laying hens into anything. A tiny fraction of the chickens are given a second-life through "give-away actions" by animal-welfare agencies like the one i linked but thats only for small batches since there isn't enough demand for those millions of sub-optimal hens yearly and sadly the major selling point for the agency is that it is just cheaper to give them away than ordering the gassing-truck to put them to death. I know that the breeders are planning the spikes into the breeding process so there is enough chicken eggs to cover the market on christmas and easter, i'd guess they also weigh in factors like disease and heat waves in to manage the supply of fresh hens.
