Thanks for sharing your experience!

Your method of using the custom exercises is incredibly smart! You can see the progress with comaprable prerequisites. So far, I just accepted it as long as I progress over time.

I see. I gave up on the plans even though they are nice! It is too cumbersome to go back and forth. I stay in the history tab and just know my plans in and out. That way I have the old values visible. Also, there's no direct connection to the history graph which is a bit sad. As you said, the app is really nice, I don't complain. I'm happy with it.

Meditate is a nice and simple stopwatch for meditation. It automatically logs all sessions. You can create complex presets and easily access sessions.

I used Meditation which has a beautiful and clean ui for a long time in addition with Table Habit tracker to log the sessions. I liked the setup and if you only need a stopwatch, go for it. I had to use two apps and log manually. It was annoying to switch between timers and you couldn't select custom durations easily, or even at all.

Flex is a clean workout log book. You can add exercise sets and track you progress over time. As simple as that. I really like using it.

Shortcomings: It has no large exercise list with images or descriptions. Therefore, it is not really suited for beginners. It can be difficult/annoying to enter a new exercise because you can't simply add a set by clicking on a + somewhere on the screen. You always have to type some unique part of the name first. Once, you are used to this quirk, it's ok. There is no server, you can only use it on one mobile device. No IBAN for donations but at least monero.

I usually connect with my server via ssh in a terminal and run basic commands. What's a better, more efficient and modern way of doing that? Especially considering ai and documentation along the way? I wonder if there's a better approach than "connect from remote and act local". Is there a method to "code local and push to remote"?

I use a fedora server with podman, caddyfile and vi.

Is the surface pro 10 a modern working tablet?

According to the feature matrix it works good. Does anyone own one? Is there another one that I missed?

I want a new laptop/tablet. I don't play games. I just write prose most of the time or write code. Arm, touchscreen and handy device size seems to be the only awesome innovation compared to my old laptop in my view.

    • Immich always asks for confirmation when deleting an image on android. How can I disable that behavior?
    • why is there no delete button for images/videos that are not yet uploaded? It's annoyng to upload a huge video just to delete it. Why does the UI change dependent on the local/server status?
