There is a switch in google account security on the web to turn this off, I did so a long time ago and thankfully, it stayed off on the phone. I think this new settings is just bringing it to the phone UI.

But at this point best thing to do is block all google play updates before they roll out the complete block for external app installation to more countries.

It is sarcastic. But it is also what OpenAI tried.

The reason they just drop these and say nothing is because these are unverified slop.

OpenAI's method of verification is rewrite them as Lean proofs that can be verified by computers. Two things have happened so far:

    1. The Lean proof proved the slop wrong, easy, retract.
    2. The Lean proof, being generated by a LLM, is susceptible to hallucinations. For example the Navier Stokes problem Lean proof turned out to be slightly different than the original natural language proof, because the LLM tried to bend a condition to make the proof compile.

But, in case nobody found any problem, OpenAI gets to claim credit for the discovery until someone can review and prove something's wrong.

You can say these proofs are "Schrodinger's correct"

Last I checked hl=en from 20 years ago still works reliably across all products, but I can see the new slop slowly creeping up in everything, enjoy it while the slop haven't reached that part.

    I gotchu https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotha_Lintorn-Orman

Following her war service, Lintorn-Orman placed an advertisement in the right-wing journal The Patriot seeking anti-communists.[13] This led to the foundation of the British Fascisti (later the British Fascists) in 1923 as a response to the growing strength of the Labour Party, a source of great anxiety for the virulently anti-Communist Lintorn-Orman.[14] She felt Labour was too prone to advocating class conflict and internationalism, these being two political positions she strongly opposed.[15]

Her fascist party successor is also a woman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorothy_Grace_Waring

From 1922, complaints were received about Waring's alleged over-zealous strip searching of women suspected of carrying weapons or messages on behalf of the IRA.[1] She was defended by Northern Ireland's minister of home affairs, but as a result of concern that her actions might lead to local rioting, she was dismissed in March 1923.[1]

You can say it's both, and rideshare too. The vehicle is 15 seats, slightly slower than taxi because it make more stops and take more people, and only stop at bus stops, but faster than ordinary buses because it does not make as many stops, only when requested. Also much cheaper than taxis (like < $2 per ride). I feel it is a nice balance, more choices is always better. Way better for society than private car (1 passenger per ride) or taxi (2 passengers per ride)
