It just functions so much better to use low cost api subs over trying to run anything locally. Let them subsidize this shit for you, don't abuse your own hardware while it's expensive af to replace, can spend 100s a year on subs and it'll be less than the hardware costs for that amount of time.

I like deepseek v4flash, I use opencode go and commandcode, somehow feels not as bad since its cheaper and technically can be ran at home if you can afford it. I don't care for regular ai chat, feels useless after using agents. Agents are what you expect when you think of ai at the computer, hermes is a solid free one. Those two subs rotating as one runs out should last you a while at 20$ a month. These smaller companies/datacenters aren't the issue imo, the larger ones like Anthropic, google, openai, etc. are.

You just have to add lemmy (obvious downside of some instances not being named a variation of lemmy means they are less likely to show up still), its not like reddit now, its like when you had to add reddit at the end of your search, nows its just always the first result

The people capable of giving those answers aren't gone forever, tech is prob the one case where lemmy should suffice already, ask the question, you'll be the first now.

Groupthink here does sometimes hit reddit narwhal beckons levels sometimes, still much better than the modern internet elsewhere

I enjoy the more humorous comics from Ahoy like My Bad and The Wrong Earth.

Favorite evil superman take is Iredeemable from Boom.

Valiant 2012-2024 is my favorite superhero verse, I really enjoyed going through all of it.

Rick and morty comics from oni are surprisingly decent and do a great job filling the void when wanting more episodes.

Curious about what people like coming from mad cave, boom, dynamite, oni, ahoy, etc.

What is your favorite lesser known publisher? One that you think no one else here is aware of.

Yep, I was just addicted to reddit, went through my comments and posts after getting banned and realized it had been years since I really got value of interacting. Any question you want to ask has prob already been asked recently due to the sheer volume of ppl.

Corporations only care about corporate clients and don't give a sht when I report bugs. They get put on the backburner, meanwhile with Blender I get an instant response everytime. I'm not used to reporting bugs and actually getting results. It makes me more confident and excited to use the software knowing any issues I face will prob be fixed if I report them.

Good pacing, and the environments always switching up, recurring characters sometimes coming back seasons later, the actors are all funny af and genuinely feel like a random upper middle class calfornia family. Genuinely suprised they didn't get casted in more stuff after this show, Andy especially, might be my favorite tv character in any tv show. Man has the best lines.

The goddamn croquet mallet is peak television.

Running games off my microsd has a lot of issues and only works rarely (legion go s, not sure if its the reader or card, heard it's just slow in general)

So I'm looking for more smaller games (at or below 10gb with exceptions if it's multiplayer online, no bigger than 25gb in that case)

Right Now I Have (haven't played or tried them all yet, I like variety when I do sit down to play)

    • Trackmania Stadium and Valley less than 2gb total
    • Trackmania 7gb
    • Helldivers 2 slim version 22.54gb
    • Warhammer speed freaks (suprisingly fun when theres a lobby with ppl) 17gb
    • Asphalt Legends 9gb (way better than I expected out of a free game)
    • Burnout Paradise Remastered 7.45gb
    • Flatout Ultimate Carnage 5.19gb
    • Redout 4.56
    • Risk of Rain 2 3gb
    • Astroneer 3gb
    • Valheim 2gb
    • Factorio 1.89gb
    • Slay The Spire 1.66gb
    • Monster Train 1.51gb
    • N++ 1.35gb
    • Rivals of Aether 351mb
    • Enter the Gungeon 343mb
    • Noobs are coming 311mb
    • Nuclear Throne 222mb
    • Brotato 213mb
    • Hypersomnia (topdown shooter) 500mb
    • Albion Online 7gb (tried it a few times, never really clicked but I crave a mmo)
    • Hades 2 11.4gb
    • Hollow Knight 7.6gb

I like all genres but prefer stuff that works purely with the controller.

Ideally, looking for multiplayer pvp game that isn't a first person shooter since mouse and keyboard wins out there on pc.

Do topdown and sidescrolling online pvp shooters still exist?
