Maybe it's because I don't drink alcohol but I don't have fun when I'm around drunk obnoxious people, loud cheap music while being annoyed by some guy I'm not interested in while also being watchful that he doesn't drug me and rape me WHILE ALSO trying to keep an eye on my friends so they don't get raped either.

Then I have to be the babysitter of my drunk friends while one is vomiting and now we have to take her home 🫩

I like makeup and skincare, I'm far from a professional but I have my knowledge, I'd have thought someone whose job is dedicated to the industry would know much more than me...

Well turns out this woman gave me the worst advice ever super confidently. I have very dry skin, I've always used hydrating foundations even if they transfer they make my skin look glowy.

Well this woman said that the brand I use is so terrible I should use another brand that was more expensive and of "better quality for the skin", my makeup looks cakey for the first time in my life, this foundation is so dry it sucks up the little moisture I have of my skin.

I did some research and turns out the price of a foundation doesn't make it healthier for your skin, all brands here have the same safety quality by law, so you're basically paying for the brand.

She also didn't know, as an aesthetician, that retinol can get rid of acne. I mentioned it to her and she said very confidently that retinol doesn't do that and that retinol destroys people's skin... Obviously if you use it wrong it will destroy your skin but the point is to use it as indicated. Also it was literally invented to get rid of acne so how can you be so sure the purpose of retinol is only for ageing?

Idk this woman really made me think I can only trust myself when it comes to beauty advice, that or a very professional Korean aesthetician because the western ones know jack shit.

As a trans person get this so much. I've turned mean and dry as a person, specially to men. Somehow making fun of the men attracted to me gives me some sense of power I never have.

I have strong feelings of disgust and passive agressivness every time a man wants to have sexual advances with me.

It makes me want to crush a glass against their skull, genuinely. I don't do it obvi but I have the intrusive thoughts to physically hurt them every time they start to get sexual even if we're trying to date.

It also makes me lose any sexual attraction. I know you're going to say that I should get with an asexual guy. They're very little around and the few I met still had sexual needs somehow which made me immediately leave and block them.

Daenerys Targaryen getting raped by Drogo and her liking it... She's 14, with detailed descriprions of her boobs.

Outlander, a whole chapter of the male protagonist getting raped and tortured in explicit ways, the next chapter we start with the rape of a 10 year old boy also very explicit.

In IT there's a kid's gangbang, a group of boys taking turns on the only female protagonist.

    Need anything else?

I've noticed this in many fantasy, horror and supernatural books. It doesn't matter if the author is a man or a woman, they always write a scene that isn't really important to the story and repeat it many times in their work for no reason.

I'll give the examples and if you have read their books you'll know what I'm talking about; George RR Martin, Stephen King, Diana Galdon.

As far as I know Lord of the rings is safe from this, tho I'm not sure because I haven't read nor seen the movies due to a lack of female characters in the story, but I'm sure plenty of you can confirm.

Like if you're trying to get healthier good for you, but stop making it everyone else's problem 💀

Specially because they become moody and don't like seeing you eat. What do you want me to do? To get on a diet too so you don't get cravings?

What infuriates me the most is this could be completely avoided if they did the diet correctly instead of just starving themselves. If you want to lose weight in a healthy way you need to lower the calories you're consuming, you don't need to eat less. You can actually eat more and lose weight by just reducing the calories in each meal.

But of course not, they prefer to skip meals and then the next time they eat something they consume too much so skipping the meal was for nothing.

I've noticed that Americans have a different stereotype of trans women to Latinos.

In America they think of a man in a dress and a beard and colored hair, but that's not the stereotype I've ever seen in Latin America, Latinos always think of a woman with huge boobs and butt, dolled up but with a comically deep voice and is likely to be a prostitute.

I don't know where the American stereotype came from, but as a Latina sadly I can say our stereotype comes from the fact we're forced to be hyper feminine and do sex work to even survive but you'll still be at risk of being brutally assaulted.

There are some things that I consider to only be known by chronically online people like femboys, furries, non binary xenogenders (I'm sorry if you are non binary but at least in my country no one cares about it irl)

Tho I've seen too many people irl make some jokes that you would expect to see on the internet by a chronically online redditor. My brother's friend (only 10 years old btw) said "if you lose the dare you're a furry femboy" 💀

Then a guy who is in my friend group said he's really into "looksmaxxing' lately. A lot of them acted like it was something normal to say.

Too many young people using TikTok slang irl, I don't know, I prefer to keep the internet shit on the internet and just forget about it in my day to day life.

Damn even my parents sometimes mention some influencer that got cancelled, it feels illegal that my parents know about some random streamer.

I'm staying in my brother's house and there has been so many instances where something weird happened that I'm starting to think there's indeed a presence in this house.

They all happen in the second floor and the stairs to the third floor but never in the third floor or the first one, even tho the first floor is darker and scarier. I've slept there many times and nothing ever happens.

Now the second floor is another story... The balcony's door opening by itself, hearing steps when there's no one in the house, extremely loud noises of something falling to the floor, noises of the chairs in the dining room being moved, and knocking noises on the second floor's bedroom.

I've slept in that bedroom with a friend, all night long knocking noises that are too ambiguous to know where they specifically come from, sometimes the knocking is faster and then it slows down. The scariest thing is that my friend asked it to stop and it indeed stopped for a few seconds before it starting again... I swear I almost peed myself.

Paris, Venice, Disneyland are not enjoyable destinations anymore. They're packed with people blocking the way to take a stupid picture for social media. It's so narcissistic, you're not there to admire the art in museums or the architecture but to take a picture of yourself next to it 🫩

The worst part? That other non mainstream locations are also getting packed with people every year because of these people sharing it on social media. Slovenia, a country that's supposed to have modest tourism is now full of people that are making the bus services crash because they're not prepared for this amount of tourists

You'd think the heat waves in Europe would hinder tourism but for some reason there's still even more people coming every year. I swear that if I hear another German tourist speak with that goofly deep voice of theirs I'm going to crash out.

Reddit has this stereoytipe of being a niche community of insufferable internet chuds while Twitter was seen as more mainstream.

Now nowadays, this is completely different. Maybe it's the generational change and Gen Z men ruined Twitter, but it's like it got invaded by 4Chan mentally unstable losers and edgelords.

Reddit is a much more sensitive place, sometimes even too much, but I prefer people to be overly sensitive or offended over "Haha kill yourself liberal, and fuck women in video games women don't deserve to exist 👨🫃🏻"

Lately it feels like edgelords and trolls are multiplying, they used to be a minority of men no one cared about because they would drown in their own misery. But now they're like the average Instagram/Twitter user and you can see them on YouTube as well posting their opinions on lengthy debates.

I transitioned 9 years ago and these symptoms started to me around 4 years in. Usually they're not talked about in trans spaces despite being documented.

    1. Lower body temp than people who aren't on HRT despite not feeling the cold. Sometimes I even feel hot despite my body being 36.5°C

    2. Terrible blood pressure, my nails on my fingers and toes are always purple-ish and the nails grow thin and weak.

    3. Dry skin.

    4. Extreme dry eyes, they actually cause me vision loss.

    5. Bruising, random bruises appearing on my thighs out of nowhere. One day I fell on my knees and even tho it wasn't a hard fall I got a terrible black bruise on my knee.

    6. Dizziness, people report headaches more often but I don't get those as often as dizziness.

Some people say "wow HRT made me feel so good" and I'm here feeling like a corpse in recent rigor mortis 💀
