There are a shit ton of handhelds ranging from a lot of budgets, wulffden made a great video about any that he could get his hands on.

Edit: Should have finished reading before I started talking, I see you already know about these emulation handhelds. I'll still leave the link up for anyone curious.

You know, the darksouls creator's quote pisses me off. Not because of his opinion, but because the extreme soulslike fanatics will yell, kick, and scream about how difficulty sliders are the devil and how the game itself has its own way of making it easier for you but if you don't play the game with their specific build, your play through doesn't count.

EDIT: had an extra "their" for some reason

Back when I was on windows, Elden Ring wouldn't recognize my controller. No matter what I did, nothing worked and I was going insane. Eventually I used steam input to make my controller make keyboard inputs, worked pretty well. I was able to get through a lot of the game that way until it beat the willpower out of me and I stopped playing lol

No, but they support MAC now. I had a little reactionary chuckle reading that. I know the Apple arm chipsets have been really good, and most games from gog are not very demanding, its just funny to me that historically Mac has not been known for gaming and they get support before Linux. Shout out to the Heroic Launcher Team.
