I may have to dabble with that (I make soap)
The only red hat I approve of
Sure have lol. Doesn’t bother me none. People are just miserable and have a hard time keeping their opinions to themselves. No one’s holding them hostage, you can just scroll on by if it’s something they’ve seen before but apparently some users have issues with impulse control lol
I’m defensive and angry because you’re being a jerk. Yes I posted the same photo before, yes I posted my Etsy link before, but I spread those posts out so I don’t spam. I found a new community where I wanted to share my art and I did and now you and some other chronically online loser are harassing and bullying me for it, which I won’t stand for. The internet is huge and doesn’t cater exclusively to you. If you don’t like what you see, go somewhere else or keep your thoughts to yourself. You can post your opinions just fine but they’re wrong when they’re about me, saying “I know what I’m doing” and that I’m purposely spamming when I’m not. That’s harassment and bullying and I don’t take kindly to that.
Again, if you don’t like my posts, scroll by and don’t comment. No one is holding you hostage and you’re choosing to act like a jerk and harass a small business owner of your own free will. That speaks more to your character than it does mine.
As if I’d waste my time on a miserable troll like you lol. Seeing as the vast majority of feedback I have here is positive I think people just don’t like others projecting their own misery onto others who are just trying to share their craft with a community who appreciates it more than some chronically online neckbeard complaining about seeing the same picture twice. Go outside and make friends or donate to charity or something 😂
Okay you AND them are the only ones complaining lol. I tend to scroll right past when I don’t like a post or I have seen it before. I suggest you do the same as not everything needs your opinion.
I’ve posted this collage on a few different places but I just found this space to share my art.
I just reopened my Etsy in April and I’ve had trouble with getting new Reddit accounts for years. They banned an old roommate of mine and I think they think I’m her so maybe don’t assume because you’re very much wrong about that.
My posts aren’t ads or spam. I’m new to Lemmy and am finding different communities where I would like to share and post and get involved with like-minded people. Clearly most people haven’t seen my soaps before because you’re the only one complaining about seeing them before (which again I urge you to cut down your screen time if you’re seeing the same thing over and over. Lemmy is small but not that small). That’s very much a you problem. And ues it’s art, I majored in it in college and I know it invites criticism and opinion. But you’re not criticizing my art, you’re criticizing me and my posts. So you don’t get to use that excuse.
I highly recommend next time you see something you don’t like, maybe don’t comment on it. Again your opinion was extremely rude and negative and the internet doesn’t cater to your tastes. You don’t have to look or comment or buy from me. It’s actually quite easy, and once you figure out how to do that I think you’ll be a lot less miserable.
Maybe spend some time off the internet or keep your thoughts to yourself? You could’ve kept on scrolling and said nothing and tbh, that would’ve been the smart thing. I’m allowed to share the things I create and that I love making and your negative attitude isn’t wanted nor welcomed.
EDIT: also going through all my comments and downvoting them is childish. Grow up and go outside.
I’m sure your music video was awesome! I went to school for art and took some film classes, so film like that imo is just as much an art form as movies are
Thank you! I’ve had a big uptick since I posted on Reddit (except Reddit bans any account I create so I came here. Don’t ask why I have no idea 🤷🏻♀️) and now on Lemmy. I also have some bars in a local shop in my area that have been selling well too! I want to do more pop up shops and shows next year, but I have some health issues I’m trying to get sorted before I go and so all that.
It’s really fun but it can be dangerous because of lye. It’s an art and a science and I love it so much!
