Wilson and House were the steadiest couple on this show

Also House definitely flirted with everyone in his own way, cause he loved finding their kinks and exploiting them:

  • Foreman: praise kink
  • Chase and Cameron: daddy issues
  • Cuddy: bratty sub
  • Wilson: codependency

If I'm interpreting it correctly, that's the probability that this particular PRNG with those particular seeds produces those particular outputs. That's a strawman argument; a PRNG with uniform output should eventually produce any value.

It's perfectly believable that a known broken PRNG from 40+ years ago could be backsolved. The part I doubt is the sensationalized part, that the LLM found the exact method with which it was calculated. It's just a plausible choice for a random oracle. It's a local minimum the LLM settled into.

That's the thing with random oracles, there's likely so many plausible combinations of candidate algorithms and inputs/seed values that the actual truth is almost certainly lost to history.

Correction: Claude found a plausible way these curve points were generated. And "plausible" is carrying a metric fuckton of weight here.

It found PRNG settings that could theoretically generate the same values, but the fact that it requires thousands of iterations makes me think this is more of a coincidence than anything. Especially given that the NSA employee remembered something completely different.

Multicast means the AP has to deliver a copy of the packet to every other client on the network, so it's multiplicative.

The router doesn't automatically know which clients are listening to a given multicast address and which aren't, so it has to send a packet to all of them.

As an atheist watching my country about to commit itself to yet another war in the Middle East, I can't stop thinking about this criminally underrated track.

Almost 20 years later it remains a poignant condemnation of religious extremism of all kinds, pointing out the hypocrisy of preaching the love of God for all mankind one day and crying out for the destruction of nonbelievers the next.

And no, of course I'm not so naive as to think that religious differences are the only motivation for the current conflict, nor that people couldn't find reasons to kill each other without religion. I just wonder if it wouldn't be so easy to justify if the calls for blood weren't purportedly coming from the mouth of God himself.
