My brother got the 400mhz version of this when he went to college. I later got is as a hand me down, for my first PC that wasn't shared with the family. When I later built a computer, I stripped the emachine down and mounted all the parts to a board and hung it on the wall where it still ran. It became the machine I tried installing linux on and stuff.

I don't really want to eat a whole raw onion. But, its not even a question that I would for far less than $1m lol. Hopefully I at least get to peel the papery layer off and trim off the roots bit.

    the game just worked

That's not how I remember it. I remember plenty of games being buggy as hell, or outright not working. When a patch did come out to fix it, you had to find and download it from the developer's website and manually install it. Then keep track of that patch file in case you wanted to reinstall and play again later.

I had to watch it multiple times because it looked like he tripped and then just went with it as a takedown. It was just so out of nowhere. What a fucking psycho.

I've been running Cachy on my laptop for a year and a half, and my desktop for 10 months. It has by far been the smoothest linux experience I've had.

I used bazzite for about 6 months on my laptop, and its great but I ran into too many headaches with the immutable aspect trying to use it for everything besides gaming. I used LMDE after bazzite for almost a year, and it too had frustrations.

I save the boxes for stuff in case I need to return it. Or for some stuff if I may want to resell it. But I try to keep that to a minimum, and purge regularly.

My greatest generation grandpa saved the boxes for everything, with the receipt and notes about it.

He also put notes inside battery compartments about when they were last changed. Where the batteries were purchased and for how much.
