It's a joke of Skyrim players. So many editions have been released on so many platforms. Most people who've been playing it tend to accumulate extra copies. On steam I think I have the base, gold, remaster, and special edition. I have a switch copy, and an Xbox copy or two. I'd be pissed as hell if fuckin Sony took any one of them.

Years of work went into it. They sent operatives to collect sand samples, planted fake evidence on a corpse, and even ran drills off the coast of england. The latter one almost gave it all away when some German submarines interrupted their practice.

I have a lot to say about how and why, but i think these people though their posters looked good before they saw everyone have the same style.

Like how Walmart and Target are competitors, but their themes complement each other as to what we expect from their stores. It's something a successful business can't ignore. See power tools brands have all cornered their respective color theme, but up close they all perform similar to our expectations before anything else.

So AI steps in, advertised it can make posters now, and people believe it. Either they can't afford an artist, or don't care enough to consider. Swaths of salt-of-earth businesses jump to use it, naively, and kinda out themselves accidentally as the amateurs they are.

Everyone sees it, and realized too late. I think that style will die off pretty quickly if business owners know what's good for them.

It's just so absurd that AI as a solution is just again, seen as another poison to the thing it's supposed to solve. If I were to write a story about it, I couldn't make it up. The absurdity has it's own gravitational pull.

Taylor swift cuts the ribbon and hands me the keys to my new bathroom. Golden fixtures with carpet to match. They even found golden loofahs and shampoo.

"This isn't what I wanted", I said looking deposed.

"Turn the handle", she said knowingly.

Faster than I anticipated, my hand was already turning the knob. Glints of gold danced in my eyes as it effortlessly spun in my palm.

My efforts were immediately rewarded with a steady stream of smelly, salty liquid. A smile broke across my face. Looking back, Taylor was already gone, and for once, everything was okay.

Small hackable devices made with off-the-shelf components could be used and abused to allow smaller AI models to expand their compute. This was originally removed from the Technology community for [ no reason provided ], hoping it fits better in here.

Basically AI can use another device to extend it's compute. They've noticed this in smaller models, but I think larger ones have been doing this already. Since about a month ago, all my devices lag for no real reason periodically. It's not like a delay lag, but the lag associated with being busy or tied up in something else. Just speculation on my part, I think the discussion matters.
