This is normalized already. I would call out a friend or relative for these things. I do hold people close to me accountable for things I deem "poor behavior".

But also, how normalized should it be to judge people? Your coworker doesn't show up to church every Sunday? Shun them at work. Found out a new friend doesn't see their family because they used to have substance abuse problems? Cut them off. Neighbors don't speak English? Call ice. Your friend converted to Islam and now wears a hijab? Confront her husband.

I'm sure this will get downvoted, but I just wanna point out that people all have different values and openly judging or criticizing people for their lives can lead to the sorts of echo chambers and social bubbles we see today.

It uses the battery from whatever device it's plugged into via usb-c. I haven't noticed a big battery impact difference between the on board screen and the glasses. I have my ROG allyX (running bazzite) set up to turn off the on board screen when the glasses are plugged in.

They do get warm during long sessions, but not uncomfortable. Especially when compared to holding the ally up and looking down at it. You can rest it on your lap and look in any direction.

Is it weird that I never, like never ever, game in bed?

Closest I get is in a hammock while camping I guess. For that I just use my XReal One XR glasses. Pretty expensive but it's also great for plane/train rides and working on places too small for a large monitor setup

    This has broken my brain.

I have 40+ wheels I can think of in my house. Chairs, carts, bikes, shit there's even one on my mouse. That's not even counting all the wheels in my massive Lego collection.

But then again... Cabinet doors, microwave, refrigerator, oven.... Fuck!

What have you done to me?

I don't know why you're being downvoted. I agree 100% establishment Dems only bear their teeth when they don't like a Democrat candidate. They just roll over and show their belly when they see Republicans abusing us.

That said, unfortunately I think the jig is up for Platner. Most people, myself included, are going to believe these accusations and that's going to lead to way less progressives coming out to vote in November.

The entire reason I've ever bought consoles and games was because I could get used games at a bargain and also sell my old consoles and game collections when I'm done with them. I can't imagine that I'm the only person who looked at it this way.

Now console producers pull shit like this when they can't even claim to be more user friendly than PC because SteamOS is a real competitor.

Well I guess it was good while it lasted, at least until the last few years when greed fully took over. Microsoft is already on it's last leg and Sony and Nintendo are going to follow eventually.

    I have two I think:

"Who will survive and what will be left of them?" by Murder By Death

It's a cohesive concept album with a really kick ass Western story about the devil taking over a small Western town. Cowboys and zombies and demons and holy shit it's just so fucking cool. I think it was written as a theological thesis.

"Pink Lemonade" by Closure in Moscow. Every track is an absolute fucking banger. The technical musicianship and brilliant use of genre and style are seriously like nothing else I've ever heard.

Runnerups for me in no particular order: Justamustache - Thunder Birds are Now! Bleeds - Wednesday, there goes the neighborhood - kid kapichi, the software slump - grandaddy

The answer is stop using streaming services. The AI problem will only get worse as people keep paying for these services because what CEO is okay paying an artist a premium when they could instead generate slop and sell that for the same price? Buy your music on Bandcamp or sail the seas, just stop using Spotify.

I guess I should have been more specific. I was talking about what the DOJ has released since Trump's second term.

As far as evidence of tax evasion or anything not related to trafficking, that's not what most people mean when they refer to the Epstein files. To me that seems obvious, but maybe not to everyone else.

We all know Trump is crooked and corrupt. He's doing it in plain sight. What people want is evidence of powerful and wealthy people involved in sex crimes with underage women. If any evidence of that kind exists, it's not being released or at least has not been released yet.

That's because the DOJ hasn't released any actually damning information. They released enough to fuel further conspiracy BS (ugh the jerky thing is so embarrassing for those morons that bought into it), but there's no way they are going to release our disclose anything that is doing to harm those they are trying to protect. That shit is buried or destroyed if it ever existed in the first place. Only chance we will see anything real is if Trump's folks kept evidence they can use as leverage or blackmail in the future.
