"I joined a party that's only principle is hate and they're mean. Waaaaaahhh"

Seriously, this says he ran for the first time in 2017 and now he wants to pretend he didn't know who the republicans were? Republicans have been the party of hate and punishing the poor and working class since the 60s, but surely the leopards wouldn't eat his face.

Brilliantly put. They're the dog that caught the car.

They refuse and cannot govern. Everything is just conspiracy, conspiracy, conspiracy.

But now that they're in charge? Well now the conspiracy never existed. Or, the even funnier/sad version in this case, I'm the conspiracy. The right hand is attacking the left hand! How could this be?

They’re not going to let us vote our way out of this and when they finally admit that the people no longer hold any sway, violence will become the only solution.

I like The Atlantic but, for fuck's sake. This person is huffing spray paint. The tariffs were never actually imposed in any meaningful way, they were for market manipulation. Then Trump attacked Iran to goad them into shutting down the Strait of Hormuz so that the reduction of oil in the market could lead to a spike in oil prices. Allowing fracking to still be profitable by manipulating the global fossil fuel economy. A demand he is keeping in place by removing all federal funding for green energy initiatives, leading to failures in the grid for areas that were reliant on the electricity of wind and solar. Your GDP means nothing in terms of economic activity when wealth inequality means .01% have more resources than 60% of the entire population of The US. Be serious.

The Atlantic desperately pleading for the trump administration to pass the enabling act so this secret police stuff is above board

Im a fascist, and these masked agents are making us look bad

pass the law making doxxing feds a felony

The Atlantic should shut the fuck up about how to do a holocaust "the right way." Its disgusting they would even allow this to be printed.

Tierney is a libertarian who hates “big government”, and definitely has an ideological axe to grind here. This article sounds very similar in spirit to the book “In COVID’s Wake” which the podcast If Books Could Kill did a wonderful job of deconstructing. The sources presented alongside this article seem very similar, and sometimes the same, as those used in the book. I’m personally very suspicious of anyone who says that lockdowns and mask mandates didn’t save lives.
