@davep No shame. Reminds me I probably have way more than this if you count stuff I didn't bother to close or simply don't have the login details anymore.

@cupz Fair point (to both points).Although, when you've been online for over 30 years, shit adds up. There's a few that aren't actually on the list any more. ;-)
@davep Love it. I can imagine this makes it easier for our dyslexic friends. Though unsure why anyone would need this many accounts on social networks. :P
@remixtures the trajectory point is the one people skip. you can get the right output for the wrong reason, and if you only grade the outcome you'll never catch it, until the one time the shortcut doesn't line up. by then it's already in production.

"One more figure, and this one isn’t for you. It’s for the people you’re trying to bring along: the exec who still thinks this is fancy autocomplete or the colleague who hasn’t made the jump. Each generation kept what came before and raised the ceiling on what one engineer could do.It has the adoption numbers that tend to end the “Is this real yet?” argument. As of early 2026, 85% of professional developers use AI coding agents regularly, 51% use them daily, and roughly 41% of new code is AI-generated."
@el3ctron Thanks! Hope it's usable for you! :-D
@davep installing and testing, cool nav!
@davesomebody I'm saying that I don't need any of that for this application, just "Is it this date yet?"
@serge maybe you didn't waste your time.
@davesomebody Nope, none of that.
@serge time is hard! Most under think how strange time can be. Some people go overboard. Will ask you this. Do the times factor out daylight savings time, time zones and leap seconds? Depending on your application those can mess things up.
@kimvanwyk Well now I have to try and work that into some followup!
@davep I'll confess I hadn't come across the bean soup meme before, so I was expecting a "I know it's been soup but what is it now" type joke :-)
@remixtures “uttermost efficient at automating almost about everything.” 🤨
@oliverandrich That's where I was about 5 weeks back! Didn't even know it existed. Now I've got 3 related projects on the go. :-Dgeminiprotocol.net is probably a good place to start.gemcities.com/ is worth checking out to dabble with writing your own pages, unless you want to get into hosting your own server (I'd like to at some point).
@davep Reading about Rogallo makes want to check out Gemini. So far I don't even know what it is and what I can do with it.
That seems to have done the trick. Rogallo is behaving much better on Station now.
@ghosttie I'd take a friendlier compiler.I remember back to when I was learning it the first time and just being confused all the time by what I had done wrong
@remixtures yeah, once you remove the UI the product suddenly has to be honest about what it actually exposesmost SaaS is way more fragile at the API layer than it looks from the dashboard
@rohitfarmer Thanks. I’ve added github.com/davep/rogallo/issue so I really don’t forget (not that I would, I find having to provide the scheme annoying too).
@davep all the best! I will keep an eye on the future releases.
@rohitfarmer Thanks. Yup, needing scheme is on purpose for the moment. I’m also going to make it fully capable of browsing gemtext in the local filesytem so haven’t written anything to intelligently decide what’s remote or local yet, mostly because I’m concentrating on the async protocol client library and the UI. Lots to do before v1.0.0.
@ghosttie This is why operator overloading is so important!
@davep just tried it. Looks great! I usually use Amfora as a terminal browser. Also, I had to type my full URL gemini://capsule.rohitfarmer.c for it to open. It did not work with just capsule.rohitfarmer.com.
