I make a lot of music all the time, and much of it is stuck in live sets or doesn't come out. Other tracks I tinker with for years and put away because I'm working on an album. Many tracks won't fit on albums or EPs but I want them to come out in some form, so I'm trying this format.

The Studio Stream series will be tracks from live sets, experiments and nice stuff that's currently in my folder of compositions. Hope you find something that you like!

How lush the synths, how saturated the drums, how distinctly analogue.

Can anybody recommend me something that scratches the same particular itch as astrobotnia 00, 01, and 03?

Playlist here, but without ‘Introfunktion’.

One of Ninja Tune's best releases, imo.

Wagon Christ is a moniker of Luke Vibert, who also does idm and drum'n'bass under his own name and as Plug. He has collaborated with Aphex Twin and inspired him to switch to faster drill'n'bass breakbeats on ‘Richard D. James Album’ from the earlier ambienty sound.

This is a collection of songs from the same artist to try to make a similar album. What album should I do next?

“Cylobian Summer” is a new ten track album inspired by everyone’s favourite season.

Belgian label De:tuned once again dives into the innovative world of Luke Vibert, reviving his legendary Plug moniker with ‘Variety Magic’, the first new Plug album in nearly 15 years.

For this release, Vibert unearthed and hand‑picked a collection of previously unreleased jungle and drum & bass gems, sourced straight from his original mid‑90s DAT archive. The result is an 11‑track ride through the raw energy and playful experimentation that made his early Plug work so distinctive, all infused with Vibert’s unmistakable funk and mischievous flair.

Variety Magic is vibrant, bold, and delightfully off‑kilter. A colourful homage to an iconic era, crafted for both deep listeners and the dancefloor. Stay tuned!

I love this album! (well, except Vacuum Garden lol)
